Snow Removal and Salting Bids

REQUEST FOR BIDS 0F SNOW PLOWING AND/OR SALTING
October 26, 2024
Green Charter Township is seeking bids for snow removal and/or salting at their Township Hall located at
21431 Northland Drive Paris, Mi. The contract will begin immediately upon signing and run until March 31, 2025.
Green Township is seeking a single ‘all occurrences’ charge to cover the contracted services provided during the time period.

All maintenance should be completed by 7:00 am the morning of any night’s weather occurrence.

Snow plowing shall be provided following an accumulation of two (2) inches in depth.

Parking lots and drives on all four sides of the Hall shall be plowed/salted and maintained.

Salt shall be applied when the lot conditions warrant to prevent slips and injuries.

The short walkways to the east and the south doors shall be cleared and/or salted.

The township hall is often rented and therefore the parking lot should be cleared 7 days a week.
Green Township may call from time to time for additional plowing services when hall usage requires.
**Bidders shall provide Green Charter Township with Proof of Employer’s Liability Insurance Coverage to include Workman’s Comp.**
Bids must be submitted by noon, December 9, 2024. Bids will be reviewed at the December 10, 2024 Board Meeting.
Bids may be submitted online to clerk@greentownship.org, or sent/brought to Green Township Hall 21431 Northland Dr. P.O. Box 233 Paris, Mi 49338. (A 24 hour drop box is available at the East door.) ALL BIDS WILL BE REVIEWED ON A “BEST VALUE” BASIS. GREEN CHARTER TOWNSHIP RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS WITH OR WITHOUT CAUSE.

PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS
The Green Charter Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on December 19, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the Green Charter Township Hall located at 21431 Northland Drive, Paris, MI 49338, to consider proposed amendments to the Green Charter Township Interim Zoning Ordinance. If adopted, the proposed ordinance amendments would, in summary, add regulations for solar energy, wind energy, and battery storage projects
Copies of the proposed Interim Zoning Ordinance amendments are available upon request to the Township Clerk using the contact information below. Written comments on the proposed Zoning Ordinance amendments will be received at the Township Clerk’s mailing address and e-mail address below, up to and including the day of the public hearing.
